A poem

I wrote this for my mothers birthday this last week.

The Galaxy Holds a Symposium For You:

I see a night in countless eyes
Bringing forth the pricks of light
To see from all the numerous gaze
The aperture sees anyplace

I wander through the planes unbid
The Milky Way, to witness it
I wretch the light and focus hard
I see the rings of Jovian gods

Their lovers and their rings commit
The belt separating us from it
The night from all the Milky Way
Bringing forth to us today

The planets bow their heads to you
Offering rings from Cronus and Zeus
On your day all gather close
To gather warmth from Helios

But Saturn stands alone
and bows a toast
to you
